St. Chad’s Church Choir

St. Chad’s Choir, under the leadership of Director Ernie Sturdevant, supports the 10:00 am Sunday worship service from September through May with hymns from the 1982 Hymnal and a variety of anthems ranging from traditional to contemporary.  Special works by noted composers are prepared in celebration of Easter and Christmas. In addition to piano and organ accompaniment by Director Sturdevant, musicians from within the parish and the choir often provide support through instrumental accompaniment.

The choir is a small but cohesive group and is always looking for new members with an interest in singing God’s praise through music.  Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Sunday mornings between services.  For more information, contact Ernie Sturdevant, Father Brian or a choir member.
